How early did you start tummy time for baby? My SIL started as soon as they got home from the hospital... meaning baby was like 4 to 5 days old. Her baby is quite strong and seems so independent at holding himself up.
The thought of it kind of scares me though because some articles that i read do not recommend tummy time at that early of an age. Any tips? Suggestions on how to best perform tummy time? Ideas on how to best position baby? Anything would help. Thanks ladies.

Immediately start laying baby on your chest until cord falls off then laying baby on mat or blanket whatever u want all my kids have had great head control since birth

I started with laying baby on my chest and then did tummy time after the cord fell off. She hates it, although it’s gotten better. She tolerates being on her stomach now and rolls over to sleep that way at night. She has had good head control very quickly and has fantastic trunk control
