-been sick all week I don’t feel like baking a cake and I don’t have a lot of money so trying to do something that incorporates “around the house” type ingredients for whatever I do. Anything cheap/affordable ideas would be great

We planned on boiling eggs - 1/2 pink & 1/2 blue leaving the gender egg raw. We were going to let the kids smash them in their head to reveal. If that’s confusing you can google egg gender reveal. Lots of videos.
We didn’t get to because we were rushed to the nearest city to close my cervix.

Get a big, giant cardboard box (or make one), wrapped if you have enough wrapping paper. Fill it with helium-filled balloons of the color of the gender of your baby. At the party, open the box and let the balloons fly out. Done. 🙂
