Same😥 every time I mention a diaper change I ALWAYS hear a long sigh and and get a miniature eye roll. It's not like he changes more than 2 diapers a day tho😧

@lovelymomma.000, girl I know. My husband would actually smell him needing a change and sometime pretends he doesn’t just so I have to change him

@lovelymomma.000, he doesn’t give him baths. I have to remind him to feed Zach. He never actually puts Zach to sleep... I told him Zach might know your face and voice but why do you think I call you his father and not his dad? He doesn’t find comfort in my husband at all... he’s just his play buddy

My son's father was the same way, he liked the idea of having a wife and child and liked how it made him look to his family but he wanted nothing to do with the responsibility and always had a problem with taking care of his son and we fought a lot.

@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, I’m to the point were if I don’t make him do it it just doesn’t get done until I do it myself and little by little I’m getting fed up

@mitiacarolina3 yea that's how I felt and I figured if I had to do things on my own I might as well be on my own.

@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, I’m getting there... my plan is to finish school, get my Bachelors, get a great paying job to support my son and myself and if I feel like leaving him I’ll have the money to do so

@mitiacarolina3 I had no money or car or job when I left my son's father, I needed to leave and I decided it was best to get my life together after the fact since his father was abusive and I didn't want my son being around it like he was. Stayed with my mom for 6 months and managed to get back on my feet again.

@preciouslove, and it’s a shame because we had to force his sister to do anything for her kids and he swore up and down he’d never be that way but as soon as I was in labor, I knew he wouldn’t do right

@preciouslove, same here... it’s like my “work” doesn’t count since I stay at home.. I’m like at least you get to call out if your sick or not feeling good. At least you get breaks and lunch... at least you get to go to the bathroom when you want
