This is my first ovulation test since delivery. I can’t tell if I’m seeing the spot that provides the second line or if it’s early/late ovulation. Thoughts? I’m wanting to have some bare fun without BC but not ready for number 2 yet

@glencoco, I understand that. And I understand that I can get pregnant even though I’m breastfeeding. We’ve been very certain to stay protected until we are confident we miss my ovulation (I’m trying my best to do track it). I guess I was hoping (like hoping I can pig out on food when ever I want and not gain weight)

Yeah there’s no way to know if it’s before or after ovulation, if you’re not ready for another I wouldn’t risk it 😬

If you don't want another kid yet, why risk it.

@emilyinsd yes, you are correct.

I am currently testing and I am still ovulating around the same days I was before pregnancy.
I'd suggest testing twice a day every day until you get a positive. Then test around that day the next month.

Unprotected sex is always risky and always has a possibility to result in pregnancy. Your test is negative, how ever that’s not to say you won’t ovulate in a couple days. Sperm can survive for up to a week in the right conditions. If you don’t want another baby I’d suggest using birth control of some sort. Especially since you’re extremely fertile after you have a baby.

@shayybear, and I’m guessing there is no way to tell if it’s before or after ovulation since I only have the one

It's there. Just not a positive.
