Maybe you could make soap for her/with her? My aunt makes us soap a lot & she loves it.
This year we got my SO's grandparents an ornament with all the grandkids & great grandkids names on it. Maybe she'd really like something like that with her kids or grandkids.

We got my MIL a picture of me Dh and his parents from my wedding. I think pictures are a great gift, especially if it's from a special event like a wedding or a birthday, graduation. Whatever.
