Did anyone start giving their babies whole milk before a year?
@mother.of.2, that’s exactly how we did it too. Works great!
@tiffanyf, my little man transitioned like nothing had changed. He is eating « normal food » as my husband call’s it when he talks about our food vs baby mashed up food. Our doctor gave us the ok to start at 10 months for that reason.
Also whole milk fat is good for the brain development.
Start with 2oz whole milk and 4oz formula then the next week 4oz whole and 2oz formula and gonna up it to 6oz next week but started at like 11 1/2months. Started off slowly to see if he would break out or anything but he's doing really good.
@missheatherbaby, yea .. it’s def a hard transition 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️
@tiffanyf, yeah I’m just trying to figure out when to start trying to convert over. You would think I would know since this is my 4th lol everything just always changes. I think your right with starting around 11 months though.
No.
Whole milk doesn’t provide the same nutrients for proper brain development under a year old
I mean I started today and he will be 1 at the end of the month
@tiffanyf yep 🙂 I sure have been
They ate doing amazing on it! I started at 11 months but they tried it off and on since 10 months
9 months... well technically we got 2%. But we stopped formula completely.
@tiffanyf, 🤦🏼♀️😂
