So I'm having a hard day today, my son wants to eat pretty much every hour and I'm not getting much rest. And when he falls asleep I'll put him down and he won't stay asleep. This hasn't been a problem until today. I also believe that I have a clogged duct in my left breast, could he not be getting enough milk therefore making him not sleep? Before today he would eat and then sleep for at least 2-3 hours. I don't know if something is wrong or if this is normal. He turned a week old today. I took his temperature and it was 99.2, is this normal? He also has acid reflux but I burp him in between breasts, give him gas drops, and don't lay him flat for 15 minutes after eating but he's still spitting up a bunch of times. Someone help me out please.

Everything sounds pretty normal for a 1 week old. Babies can cluster feed whenever they’re going through a growth spurt, so don’t be concerned about that. Nurse him on the side where you’re clogged. Babies have a powerful suck so he may be able to unclog it. Taking a hot shower & massaging that area can also help. Sounds like you’re doing everything right for the reflux. It’s frustrating but you’re doing what he needs👍🏼
Alright. I thought cluster feeding was only supposed to happen during a certain time slot during the day and not all day long. He's been like this since 6:30 this morning @glencoco
@babykk9716, I had to take an extremely hot shower and massage it super hard to get mine unclogged.
He’s probably just cluster feeding because he’s growing. It’s normal. Keep feeding him on the left to help unclog the duct.
@db413 I tried the warm cloth thing a couple of times and it didn't do much good. I tried massaging it while he ate on that side it didn't really help. And now I took my bra off cuz I've had it on constantly since sunday, to see if maybe my bra is the problem.
It could be that youre clogged on one side. Try and warm cloth and massage on it. As for his temp. Try and keep him in just a diaper if you can to keep him cool and see if that helps. Reflux there’s not much you can do about the spitting up. You’re doing everything you should in that department. It’s horrible to deal with. But he will grow out of it.

My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
This bruise randomly appeared on my breast today. Is that normal?

So my newborn is 5 days old... he hardly ever cries, maybe twice today for like 5 seconds each. He also sleeps so much ! Altogether he is probably awake 2 hours in 24hours. Is this normal ? Do I just have an amazing baby ?!? He has PLENTY of wet and dirty diapers too.
TMI: So me and the mr. had sex for three hours it was great i went to sleep but the weird part is i woke up to him sucking the milk out my breast lol i asked him what he was doing he said he does it every day when I'm asleep he says he loves the taste of the milk omg I'm shocked and starring at him i don't no what to say so i said everyday he said yeah he loves the sweet taste.😒
Another thing, you could try baby wearing. It sounds like he just wants to be close to his mama while he’s sleeping which is also completely normal.
