For anyone following me, my daughter had her appointment today for her seizure episode. Her doctor is concerned so he’s sending her to neuro and giving her a swallow study because she’s suddenly choking on baby food and spit. He’s hoping it’s not what he thinks it is

@badkitty4, he thinks it’s infantile spasms. It’s a form of seizures due to epilepsy but he wants the neuro to do tests and diagnose. And oh wow. I’m glad your daughter is okay now. It’s very scary.
I'm sorry to hear that. What does he think it is?
My daughter had what i thought was a seizure when she was 6 months old. We called an ambulance and rushed to the children's hospital. After a very long afternoon and evening the neurology resident diagnosed it as a shutter attack. Later on (like a year later) she had a sleep study and EEG done on her brain and they found nothing, thank goodness. I know how scary this can be. You'll be in my thoughts that it is nothing serious.
