I’ve been at the DMV since 11:20am. They are averaging 4 people per half hour. Someone kill me, please.

@dinamarie1995, they were telling me that there’s no difference whatsoever on any day. (Minus Saturdays being most busy.) Reno, Nevada (apparently) has had a huge influx of people moving to the area. Nearly DOUBLED since this time next year. There is only one DMV in all of Reno, and they just can’t keep up. They said the shortest wait time ever (minus Saturdays) is 2 hours. They just can’t keep up with all the people relocating to the area. 😭

Never go in the beginning or the end of the month. That’s when everyone realizes they have to do it and go then! Always in the middle!! I always wait the longest 30 minutes.

@nandfmoderator, it’s insane! I’ve been here since 11:20am, my appointment was at 12:15pm. And, they are only going through 3/4 people an hour. The poor people without an appointment are looking at being here for 6+hours! Apparently I’m only looking at 4-5hours waiting WITH an appointment 😭

I meant it used to be separated by appt type. Now it's not. At least here anyway. If I ever have to go to DMV I'm done driving 😂

@kambam, they have appointments here still, THANK GOD, but now I’m waiting in line to take the written test. 🤦🏼‍♀️

The dmv is so bad now. I heard they took out appointment lines and it's all ONE BIG line now. Good lord. So even if you have an appointment you're likely waiting 4hrs
