Mama, the only thing I’d add for next time you get in the car is to tighten his straps a bit more. Pull the chest clip all the way down to the crotch buckle then tighten and put the chest clip back.

Omg he is to cute! And a lot of people do the rolled blanket thing because the thing that comes with the seat isn't usually very good. Maybe tighten the straps just a little more and add the blankets.

I use two rolled up blankets on each side of baby. Works well for me

@vvrobinson, those inserts aren’t safe, it should say so in your manual.

Blankets are fine rolled up beside the baby’s head though.

Looks good to me op might be able to tighten it a little more? It’s hard to see in pictures just make sure the straps are coming from right at or below the shoulders and you should be all set.

They sell inserts for your carseat to help hold up the kiddos head better if you want to get one. Theres a pack of 2 in target for $12 i believe. My husband would roll up one our daughters blankets and put it around the head to help keep her head up, but the insert is much better.
