This is for ladies who have had an iud. How long after getting it removed did you become pregnant? I’m planning for baby number two but don’t want to get pregnant till late next year and want to see when I should get my iud removed.

@tyrellp, that is super fast! Did they advice you to wait sometime before trying to get pregnant or was it okay to try again

@monavidaa, that’s what I’m scared of. Because we are trying to have a baby the year my son turns 3 but what if takes me longer to actually fall pregnant. When I miscarried it took us three months to fall pregnant again. But I wasn’t using birth control then and right now I’ve been on the Skyla IUD for a year.

I had the nexplanon implant and it took about 5 months before I got pregnant, and yea depends on your body, I’ve heard of lots of women getting pregnant right away haha
how soon after you get your IUD removed can you get pregnant?
Is IUD an option? After this baby I want something secure that would prevent me from getting pregnant. Any of you ladies had an experience with copper IUD ?

IUD got dislodged and is now stuck in my cervix. Waiting to see if the er can get it removed! I thought I was in labor with the pain I was having!

@melxoxo my doctor said it was fine to start trying right away she said if i had intercourse day before i have it removed it there would be a chance i can get pregnant
