@thisisfeeney, God says that He gives everyone a free will so that we can choose. As his child our job is to tell people and show them the love of Christ and His free gift of salvation through the finished works of Christ, but it is then up to them under their free will to choose what they want to do. Everyone has to give an account of their own life so it is each and everyone of our decisions.
@emmaleigh, they definitely are. God says hinder not children to come to Him, children are his that He is entrusting to us while temporarily here. We need to raise them right and send Godly young men and women out into the world. As parents we tend to forget we will be held accountable on how we have raised our children

You are so right and a lot of people say that kids do what their parents do meaning as I take my 1 year old to church that she's just copying what I'm doing no she he sings in church she lives her hands when we're praying or when the songs are on and when I have Christian music on in here K LOVE which is a station based in Tennessee but you can get it nearly about every state on your radio station and the song comes on special worship song shoulders upper hand so don't tell me kids are not smart enough to know what right from wrong and who got it cuz I know she knows and I agree with everything that you're saying
Kinda get these weird looks when people walk into our nursery over our color choices. This is an accent wall the others are white. My husband is putting the finishing touches on the paint tonight.
I really thought our middle name choice was more uncommon than it seems to be now. I love it but slightly disappointed it isn't.

@beeceesweetie, and I do believe also that it is more than just stating it. Because God says that He reads our hearts and knows our thoughts. When you live a life for Christ you are to forsake and lay down the old you and live a life cleansed by Jesus Christ’s Blood. When you decide to follow Him we are called to take up our cross as well and leave the old behind. Yes we will have slip ups because we are human but we are to repent and turn away for the sin. If a person proclaims to be a follower of Christ but yet still does any and everything and doesn’t follow Gods word then you are straddling the fence. God says if we are lukewarm He will spew us out of His mouth. So I do believe that it is more then a mouth utterance, but a heart utterance and a life style.
