I have my gestational diabetes test tomorrow morning and my instructions say to eat a normal breakfast but nothing with a lot of sugar in it. Any suggestions on what I should eat? Should I even be eating? Again that’s what the instructions say but I’m fine with not eating breakfast that early tomorrow anyway.
They recommend eating so you can keep it down. If you throw it up you have to do it all over again. I had an egg and cheese burrito.
I ate some boiled eggs, toast, and turkey and I passed
@shelby.wrightx3 it's not necessary to eat beforehand. I didn't and i passed so it didnt mess with my results any by not eating, my OB did tell me that if i was going to eat to not eat a huge breakfast do like one piece of toast and an egg.
@mckallalynn.., mine isn’t until 9:45 but I definitely don’t usually eat until after 10 anyway. I just didn’t know if I had to beforehand
Make your own breakfast!
At what age do you think a child should be making their own breakfast? I have a 10 year old and I think he is perfectly capable of making himself breakfast. It doesn't take rocket science to put some waffles into the toaster, or microwave some pancakes. My husband insists that he needs to have breakfast made for him because if we left it up to him he wouldn't eat enough and it would take him forever.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
What can I eat or drink tomorrow to have my baby really active for my sonogram tomorrow?
Eggs.
