Ok I know I asked about this on BB before but never asked here I don't think lol, but who here has been on or is currently on the mini pill and you just constantly get periods like 2 or 3 times a month? I've been on the mini pill for over 3 months now and I just got my period again when it just got over less then 5 days ago. And this keeps happening. I go 1 week to 2 weeks then get it again. Think he longest I went was 3 weeks once. I've been taking it at the same time everyday, even have an alarm set. In the beginning I took it a few hours late because I did not know there was only a 1 hour window to take it late, then you end up getting your period again. Like I did a couple times in the beginning. But I've been taking it on time for over a month and I still just keep getting my period and constantly spotting. I'm not taking it anymore after this pack is done. Then once I finish this pack I'm afraid I will get it again right after this period, even tho when I stop them I will still be on my period. I need to call doctor about it tomorrow. It's freaking me out how much I've been getting it. I've probably had my period 7 to 8 times in 3 months or less

I been on the mini pull for 9 month and haven't had a period yet and I try to take it at the same time everyday too. Also I have missed 1 or 2 pills and didn't make a difference in getting my period. Idk if that info helps.

Holy crap really, no period. Are you breast feeding at all? I was told when I was still breast feeding that I would probably not get it and just spot. But I still got it. I also stopped breast feeding my babies at 2 months

This is EXACTLY what happened to me with the mini pill it was so awful. I hated it. I felt like my period was never ending and it was so heavy.

@ladyfreyja if you are not breastfeeding anymore you can take the regular pill now.

That's right, you should be on the regular pill. Maybe that's why your bleeding so often.

I just wanted to take a pill with less artificial hormones. Guess it's back to the full blown artificial hormones then 😑

I mean I do great on the regular pill. It's a God send for me, but this pill is a freaking nightmare. I never really wanted to go back on the pill at all because I've been on and off it for 20 years, I'm afraid of the long term damage to my health in the future from it

@ladyfreyja yeah I completely understand. I definitely don't like the idea either but there's really not many other options.

But I really do want to go back on it because it clears my acne up better then anything ever. I have bad hormonal acne, so nothing over the counter works or prescription. And it helps with these crazy heavy periods

@ladyfreyja lol true that! My husband and I are still not done having kids but I'm praying that once we are, there's a safer way b/c I have brought up the idea of him getting snipped and let's just say he didn't like my idea. 😂

Same here. He keeps saying he will think about it. Lol. I just don't wanna go under again. Especially after my experience with my C section. I'm done being cut open and stuff. His turn

Right! That's what I told him. I will be carrying our baby's, delivering them and he can't take one for the team lol.
