How is everyone going about the TDAP shot with in laws?? For the people that are wanting everyone or…

Since I didn’t get it myself I can’t force others luckily a few got it

Well, we had babies during flu season so I had just asked if they didn’t have their TDAP to not visit baby for a couple weeks or to wear a face mask and be ready to wash hands on arrival

I just made my husband tell them to do it. When I had my 2nd baby, it was my in laws 1st biological grandchild and they were super excited and would do anything to protect her. He just said “if anyone wants to be around the baby, they need that shot” and that was that 🤷🏻‍♀️

We make sure we avoid anyone recently vaccinated with the DTaP

I just asked if they were going to get it..they didn't know what it was so I explained it and a couple of them was not for it all so I told them it was mandatory if they wanted to hold my baby and if not they needed to wash up and wear a mask or wait till she's older to come around. That got them on board. I don't understand why people like that are so against it if they wanna hold my baby bad enough their ass is gonna get the damn thing

@cpullin489, I wish my husband would tell them too. He’s being a baby about it. It’s really making me mad. My whole family has it so I am not tripping on my side. But his side they are all older so I know they are more susceptible to stuff. I feel like I have to be the mean one and tell them. And they aren’t going to like it!

@krs1415, that’s what I am going to have to say is make it mandatory. I won’t even give them the option of masking and gownjjg up. Thank you!!
