You don’t have to pump & dump, that is outdated advice. How often does your LO eat? You can have one glass of wine or a beer right after feeding your baby as long as there will be 2-3 hours until the next feed. If you’re going to drink more than that, I’d suggest pumping and having some ready for a bottle feed. You don’t need to pump and dump. Your body will filter your milk the same way it filters your blood. You will need to wait until you’re sober to feed your baby. They sell strips to test your breastmilk for alcohol.
