Look into portable cribs, Wal Mart has them at pretty reasonable prices 😊 Many moms also get a Pac'n'play instead. If your looking for something that will grow with your child (from crib to toddler bed) I'd go for a 2 in 1 crib. I think that would be worth the money 👍
Get a crib that converts to a toddler bed. You may not use it much the first couple months but eventually baby will need a bed unless you plan on cosleeping the whole time
My boy slept in his swing for the first few months, then went to a bassinet, and then a portable crib when he outgrew the bassinet because we didn't have a bunch of available space.
My son spent the first couple months in a pack n play in my room and then transitioned into his crib in his own room. So we didn’t use it until he was about 5 months old. With my daughter, I will be putting her in her crib starting at 2 months. We bought both of them a crib that converts into a toddler bed and then a full size bed later on. I know several moms who never used a crib at all though, so I think it’s definitely personal preference and what you find to be easiest. Though I will say my son sleeps better on his crib mattress than he did in the pack in play. I guess it’s more comfy.
I had a bassinet since birth. I’ve never used it 😂 we ended up co-sleeping. Then at around 10 months we used a pack n play that lasted for like a month (the pack n play mattresses are horrible their like cardboard) then we brought a crib. I’d definitely would just get a crib from the start honestly.

I say it’s best to have a crib but thats just me. I prefer to have both pack n play AND a crib it comes in handy. I always need both.

Not if you plan on having more kids. You can put it up and save it for the others.

Convertible crib! Worth it. Lily has one that converts into a daybed or twin when she's ready for it.

I'm on baby #3 strictly pack-n-play, we've been really happy with the simplicity.

@hollyn216, the last pack and play I had was used as a storage bin 😩

In all honesty I had a crib and a play pen with the newborn stuff attached and I never touched the crib so for me no crib
