Need mommy advice.
My sons two. He’s had a tiny wart on his big toe for a few months now. It’s like at the crease where it bends. I’ve always checked on it and it’s seemed fine. Haven’t worried or tried removing it since it hasn’t bothered him. Well today I took a look at it and it looks terrible !
It’s pretty much a circle planters wart. At the bottom part of the circle where his toe creases it’s like broke open and it goes through layers of skin. It looks pretty deep. It’s not bleeding and only seems to hurt him if I touch it.
Does anyone have any advice on what to do about this ?
Doctors office isn’t open till Monday and I don’t think it’s important enough to go to the er
I know to keep it clean and what not but is this normal ? Should I worry? Any advice would be lovely. I’ll try to get a good picture.

Both my daughters have each experienced a wart. One on a finger from a bird bite and the other on her foot. This one looks open. I wouldn’t use anything over the counter for warts on it just yet. Heal it up like a wound, first making sure it isn’t infected (kinda looks a wee bit infected) then treat the wart..I have learnt that it’s best to get on them right away for minimal treatment.
The joys! LoL each of the girls warts took a while to go away with treatment...and the finger wart was a struggle because of how it started...
