Wish babies understood pain it hurts to get kicked and scratched everyday

@mommy1991 it sounds like she has PPD compunded on her regular anxiety and depression and if she does this response is actually a pretty accurate emotion.

@mommy1991, I’d take a 4 month olds kick over my 14 month old kicking me where the sun don’t shine during a diaper change 🙊 I agree though trim up his nails if he’s scratching, because you also don’t want him scratching himself by accident.

@avianlouiebos I don't understand. Do you just like the drama of it all? A 3 month old baby couldn't do that much damage. I've been scratched and kicked and slapped. Even head butted a few times. It hurts for a minute but it was never my daughters fault. Just like it's not your sons fault. Toughen up a little bit because this is just the beginning.

They do. They go through pain all the time. Gas, growing pain, teething. All kinds of stuff.

Babies do understand pain. A three month old cant possibly cause much pain though. Cut his nails if he’s able to scratch you that hard.

This post combined with your previous ones worries me for you. You need to talk to someone. Depression and anxiety and ocd can worsen postpartum

What do you mean? Your 3 month old isn't hurting you intentionally.
