I think metformin is for the weight loss need for some people with PCOS (not everyone who has it is overweight) as met is a diabetes drug. Birth control is also a treatment for PCOS. I’ve just completed the ultrasounds and bloodwork to find out if I have it 😧

@spookylyn, my doctor never said anything about treatments, but that he was going to start me on a stronger fertility drug then clomid so idk!

@spookylyn, no! Never mentioned it....the only symptoms I have are the cysts and irregular periods so idk if that makes a difference?

Dr didn’t give me metformin either. I was diagnosed at 12. Conceived 2 kids with no issues but now that I’m 27 and want another it’s been super hard.
