So 4 months postpartum, and I still look 3-4 months pregnant despite losing most of the baby weight. Is this a sign of diastasis recti or does it really take that long for the belly to shrink? Anything to flatten the belly? I’m getting mixed answers on google for the best effective ab workouts. Apparently crunches are a no no.

I’m 15 months PP and I feel my body has changed forever. My metabolism is so slow. I’m going to get a coach. Last resort for me. As for diastasis recti, the best is to see a physiotherapist who will check for you and can also give you some pelvic exercises to do. The pelvic exercises are super important for your digestive system, organs, abdominal muscle etc.

It took me a good 9 months to get back to where I was and my tummy was still bloated, I do have separation.

Have you checked to see if you have seperation? There are some really good videos online on how to safely check and it only takes a few seconds
