@leslyev92, no. Getting on depo. I don’t want periods. I feel like if I were to tie them, then I’m permanently closing the door lol. I’m 35 and so this is my last but I still want the feeling if I can still have another, if that makes sense
@amberspringer, I completely agree. I don’t want to close that door just yet even tho I know I probably won’t have another. And have you tried depo before ?
@leslyev92, it’s the only bc I will use lol. Got pregnant on the pill with this baby. Don’t trust the IUD since my other mom got cancer from it and also it’s lodged into her uterus and if they remove it, she will bleed out now cause she’s on blood thinners.
@amberspringer, Yeah I tried an iud and it got hooked on something. Didn’t last more than 2 weeks with it, it got so bad I couldn’t get up from my bed one day. The worst but I also tried depo and gained so much weight!!! & I got cranky but you’ve been on it so you know and obviously it works for you! I don’t even know what I’m going to do now 😖
@leslyev92, I’m sorry. Maybe you can find something that works for you. I didn’t gain on depo but I got moody at times
@amberspringer, yeah I’m still undecided on what route I want to go but hopefully soon I’ll narrow it down. Honestly I hate all options lol 😖
@leslyev92, I understand completely. I’m not looking forward to mood swings. But I’m trying to be excited for no periods. Just wish I was younger and my husband wanted more kids lol. Make things easier 🤣
@amberspringer, I’m younger and my bf wants more kids and it’s still not any easier tbh lol and oh I don’t like periods either but I’ll take them. You just have to find your happy place so mood swings don’t get out of hand.
@leslyev92, I only got bad on depo around when my shot was due. But I also was a hormonal teenager and in my early 20s while on it. So that could have played a huge part of the mood swings lol.
@amberspringer, Huh, come to think of it I was also a teenager when I got on the depo, with a newborn and a husband that didn’t help in the least so I was sleep deprived all the time. 🤔 but still the weight gain... lol and my bf has one, baby girl I just had.
@leslyev92, awe I see why he may want more. Lol he’s just getting started. Yea my daughters donor was horrible always out playing basketball and cheating. So I was always a roller coaster. I have only heard of a few people gaining weight from it cause it’s progesterone and estrogen. Maybe back then your body didn’t like it or maybe cause you were young? Doesn’t hurt to try it again and see lol.
@amberspringer, possibly, my body has changed a lot since. & oh yeah, he treats my kids as if they were his own and he says he is fine with 3, but he’d love to have a son. & i would too it’s just pregnancy all over again & another section, idk I’d have to really mentally prepare myself for it.
@leslyev92, totally understandable. I’ve never had a section. But I know they are painful 😣
@amberspringer, the actual section doesn’t hurt, it’s the recovery that’s painful. Luckily I usually don’t last too long with the pain, it’s already subsiding for me.

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
I’m tired of people saying wow you’re huge or how much longer do you have I don’t think you’ll make it to your due date, do you ladies think I’m big ?
Sitting here thinking.... when I’m 27 my eldest child will be in secondary school 🙈 I think I’m gonna go have another baby.... 😬 in 3 years time maybe
