Ok Ladies it's been a while.. how long after you lost your mucus plug did you go into labor.???
@sacoyiawhite3 it worked for me she said if my body was ready for labor id go within 24-48 hrs of it being done
@aengs2 I do know that.. some came out last week and didn't think anything about it. But today I'm hurting all in my back.
@sacoyiawhite3 Stripping membranes, sometimes calledmembrane sweeping, is a method used to try to start labor. The health care provider puts her or his finger into the cervix -- the mouth of the uterus -- and uses the finger to gently separate the bag of water from the side of the uterus near the cervix.
Copied from google bc only typing w one hand lol in labor room lol
@sacoyiawhite3, You've probably got plenty of time! The mucus plus regenerates itself. A lot of people lose it early on and it just comes back. I wouldn't worry too much! But I also don't know your specific situation. I lost some of mine at 38 weeks and went into labor about a week later after getting my membranes stripped.
@beachcutie0808 oh my goodness.. good luck sweetie!! But what is membranes stripped. With my first one. I didn't go thru any of this.
My bestie lost her plug early and had to get induced at 41 weeks. I was dilated at 2 for over a month
@sacoyiawhite3, some women walk around dilated for weeks. I was 2cm with my daughter for 3 weeks.
I lost mine 2 Sunday's ago, got my membranes stripped Wednesday and water broke this morning at 315... I've been in the hospital since like 6.
@_ejx2 almost 2cm now.. going to the doctor today..
@sacoyiawhite3, no I started dilating around 36 weeks.
@_ejx2 thank you very helpful.. were you dilated any..
I was loosing mine since I was 30 weeks and didn’t go into labor until 38.
Directly after losing my plug my water started slowly leaking out. I was 39+1
