Kinda sick of being in a relationship that doesn’t seem like it’s going to go any further...like…

I don’t consider marriage “just a piece of paper.” If he isn’t moving forward and you want a committed relationship with a future, you should consider moving on.

@phoebesmommy, I agree. And now he’s wanting to take off and go on the pipeline. Umm yea I know your nephews are doing it, but they’re 18 and 20 with no kids or anything. You’re almost 35 with 3 kids. You can’t just disappear out of their lives for months at a time. He acts like he wants to be a kid again and I’m not dealing with it.🤷🏻‍♀️

@lizabeth.1294, im sorry 😐 sounds like you know what your next step is. He can still be involved in your child’s life.. but I wouldn’t wait around anymore

@phoebesmommy, yea, the only thing that confuses me is last year he went to the courthouse to try and get a marriage certificate for us and got me a gum ball machine ring to be silly, and said he was going to surprise me an take me to get a real one. But obviously you can’t get a marriage certificate without both people so it didn’t quite work. And he hasn’t really brought it up since.

@phoebesmommy, he is that. And maybe he wants to wait until I’m done with college so I don’t lose my grants and stuff? But it’s just like damn, at least say that! He will bring it up occasionally and be like yes! Let’s get married..then nothing. So I’m like do you really want to or are you just saying that to appease me so I stick around?
