Hello moms,
I exclusively breastfeed my 7 month old and I just started pumping because i'm returning to work. Somehow I have got plugged ducts and it is soooooo painful! I have tried many things like continuing to pump, massaging, hot shower, etc...Any advice would be plenty helpful.
@mct, that is called a milk bleb. It is recommended to see a doctor before trying to pop your milk blister by yourself. Other forms of treatment are: Epsom salt soaks, hot compresses, and lightly removing the epidermis covering the plugged pore.
Dangle nurse! Works every time! Get on all fours and lay baby underneath you to feed.
Get on all four boil some water till it warm but not super hot dip ya boobs in the water for ten min the try to pump this works with or with out water the gravity pull will release the milk
Okay this is going to sound horrible and disgusting. I would get a hard white plug that would block the end of my duct, sometimes it was deep and hard to see but there was always one whenever I had a plugged duct. If you take the nipple and inspect it very closely you should be able to find it. You have to squeeze it almost like popping a pimple to work it out. Usually once I got it out the nipple would just start spraying milk so have a bottle handy to catch the milk in. It's very painful and while pressure will be relieved you are still going to be sore for awhile.
Have baby nurse from it , I put warm compressors on it I would heat them in the microwave and put them on my boob
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!

I will be 41 :/
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
@northwoodsmomma I exclusively pumped for 15 mths with my daughter and it happened a fair amount. There was no way I was going to go to the Dr for it when I could fix it myself. I talked to a lactation consultant and she is actually the one who told me about it.
