This app is going downward. Instead of females helping each other out y'all wanna be biatches to one another. Can't even ask a freaking question without being given attitude. Smh.

@beniteza11, the plastic breaks down. That’s why they expire. You don’t want it to break in the event of a crash because of broken down plastic. They do all kinds of testing to figure out how long they last. If they never wore down then they wouldn’t have to put expiration dates on them.
I would keep the stroller but look at getting or doing a trade for the car seat. As shayybear has said the plastic can wear out over time, in the event of an accident or if you have to stop suddenly at a higher speed the seat may not offer the protection needed, it may appear in good condition but there could be hairline cracks that are near impossible to see.
You can actually turn the seat into a few different things (a seat to use at the table and so on) and certain charities take them too for that very reason.
Sorry to hear people gave you a hard time, it's completely unnecessary. Us mums (and dad's) should help one another not tear each other down. Chin up mumma x
I wouldn’t use it if it is expired or has been used at all. Car seat safety is no joke. I agree to see if you can trade it in somewhere for a percentage off a new one. I would also check out babies r us. Their prices are getting lower.
Oh yes. I forgot about the trade in. I think Target just had theirs so it may not come back till this fall. But definitely look online. And no you do not have to toss the stroller. That is perfectly fine to keep.
Reading some things online if it hasn't been in an accident and straps look ok. Then you should be ok. Idk. Some say it's ok. You can also try to get ahold of seller and tell them.
@bulmabreigh3 it's about a carseat. My dumbass didn't check the expiration before I bought it. It's been expired since 2014. I was blinded by how nice and well taken care of it was. My question was if i should throw it away :(
Car seats 'expire ' due to the plastic/materials wearing down over time.
@maya......
Look for trade in deals online. Target has one, toys/babies r us did one too.
