Can you dialate from braxton hicks because mines come with cramps..(36weeks)
I don’t believe so. Braxton Hicks are just practice contractions. If you feel cramping, I would talk to your doctor and get a check to see if there’s a change.
Braxton hicks won't cause you to dilate unfortunately. It's not real labor so it doesn't do anything.
Usually if you are dilating then they arent Braxton hicks I don't think. When ever I started getting checks every week I was 4cm and my Dr said are you having contractions I was like no he said yeah you are your 4cm lol but I stayed that way for a month and still had induction
Some women feel extremely painless braxton hicks and get checked and are surprised they are 3 centimeters and effaced. The reason it can make u dilate is because it pushes babys head down, if baby is low head against the cervix this pressure from the head to the cervix can create effacement and dilation. I am 2-3cm from BH contractions and 50% effaced im 34 weeks on Saturday but this is also my 5th child
