My 4 month old has blood in his poop I’m freaking out do I need to take him in ??!!
It could be from being such a hard poop but to be safe I would take him in. Rather be safe! I agree put the diaper in a ziplock and take it with.
@scx, yes he was screaming and I was holding him trying to calm him down and then I laid him down to change him and this is what I saw and freaked out my oldest every time he was constipated there would only be streaks nothing like this I’m getting them ready now and then we’re heading to the hospital I would rather be safe then sorry
@akm2396, that actually looks really bad :/ it looks like a lot of blood and was he in pain when he pooped? I think you should take him in and see what you can do to lessen the constipation and if there’s any other serious problem?
@mombie., @scx, @reeahsoblessed, I’m pretty sure he is constipated but with my oldest when ever he was it was a little not like this
Does it look like it from him pushing and straining to much or does it look like more blood than that?
They may put him on a stool softener. My youngest son was always on a stool softener because he have digestive and bowel issues. We just found out that he's lactose intolerant because it happened Everytime he had to poop. But like the others said it could be just because his poop was so hard and his butthole had to stretch more than usual.
