I'm really debating on whether or not I should have a baby shower. I didn't have one with my first mostly because I wasn't in the same state as my family and my husband's family is awful and don't like me because I'm Hispanic. But now it doesn't seem as special since we are having another girl and no one ever comes to anything I plan anyways. So it just has me kind of down and out! I mean a few family members may come, but it's not more than 3. And I don't really have any friends so I don't see a point.

@mothermother my mom and I were just talking about doing something like that! Though she suggested a BBQ at the park with no decorations just some food and maybe a Little cake. I really like that idea just something small and simple that can be enjoyed by us even if no one comes
Another option would be to go to a restaurant and enjoy some family time and celebrating this baby.I know what you mean it does suck but enjoy the time with the members that come. But every pregnancy is special. so do you don't worry about anything else.
