So I understand that I am expecting my first baby. There is a whole heck of a lot I don’t know. That being said, I am 35 years old. My husband and I have been married 10 years. My younger sister is just super condescending to me when she talks about anything about how to raise children. I’m not an idiot. It’s really starting to make me mad. 35! I don’t need you to talk to me about immunizations or taking pacifiers away. 35! I don’t need you to tell me your views on every parenting subject in the world and talk to me as if you need to break out crayolas and draw some pictures for me to understand. I’m losing my mind with her.

Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has them. You do your research and make your own decisions.

Ladies...have you ever been friends with someone for a long time? I’m talking about years! But as you got older and both of y’all lives changed y’all kinda drifted apart? Less phone calls? Less texts? There is no hard feelings we just don’t talk like we used to. I guess it’s to be expected! Maybe we are not meant to be in each others lives as the new phases begin! Let me know if you have been through it! How did you feel about it? I’m ok I’m not much of a person that likes to always be the first to call or text the older I get I just sort of do my own thing 🤷🏽 ♀

I don’t hate my parents for letting me believe. In fact, I don’t know one person who hates their parents for letting them believe. I see a lot of: “I’m not gonna lie to my child” posts about Santa. And I’m talking from day one. How do you not let a two year old believe in Santa? My thoughts? I love the magic and joy that is Santa, and Christmas and the real meaning of Christmas all in one. Ill “lie” to my child. Definitely. I’ll let her enjoy the magic for the few short years she’ll believe. 🎄✨
