Don’t over do it. You may feel fine but it’ll hit you like a ton of bricks.

Get comfy pants and underwear that go up higher than your hips so it doesn’t rub on your incision

Don’t be so nervous the worse part for me is waiting for baby to get pulled out cause you hear metal tools clinking and but you won’t feel a thing. I always get like this before my csections too but I ask my hubby to distract me so I don’t focus on what they’re doing and just focus on being calm for when my baby comes out. Like pp said bring big undies and sweats so nothing rubs on your incision.

Move around as much as you can. I always put a pad on top of my incision to help with moisture once the stitches are out. You will bleed and try to get help the first few weeks if you can.

GRANNY PANTIES! Ones that’ll be above your incision and loose. Keep the cover they give you on your incision it feels so much better. Take your pain meds on time!! And try to walk the halls but slowly! Any other advice I’ll be glad to give...I’ve had two and one was emergency the other was last minute and awake.

@taylorsmommy1017, dang that’s what I was worried about how low the cut is n now I’m thinking I have a belly n feel like it’s gonna prbby rub on the wound :( do u know if u were able to wear those tight underwear for the belly . Or I should probably look into finding a girdle for the mid section

Crap I wish I had a small ass tummy now do u have to let it air out or something like can infections be very common I’m just getting overwhelmed with the recovery idk how some of u ladies do it 😭😭

@moniquerivera70 my mom told me when she had my twin sisters the doc had to stick his hand in there and turn one around. Did you ask about your options?

@shelyndra, yes they told my about doing a turning procedure n I refused , there’s no guarantee the day of he won’t be back being breech but we’re hoping nxt Friday he’ll be turned lol

From what they told me my ob said I’d go into L&D have them do the turn with no pain meds lol I heard it hurts like hell lmao watch how the baby reacts within those two hours and then release me home and have me come back a couple days later for the induction I have icp so either way I have to deliver by 37 weeks so I’m just praying bby decides to turn on his own from the looks of it thou he’s still in a sitting position

Honesty I really wish I didn’t have to do a csection but I feel like the success rate is lower then what I’m gonna put myself thru just like anything there’s complications I have another dr appt Tuesday n see how this goes

@moniquerivera70 dang no numbing cream either lol wow. That is dumb they should have at least gave you the option to do the procedure when you're actually in labor about to have him. Did they give a reason for not doing it that way?

@shelyndra, exactly I wouldn’t mind doing the turn if we were gonna for sure have him that day vaginal or csection but they didn’t give me that option n they didn’t tell me why not either but I’m gonna ask her when I see her again if they can do it that day Incase he isn’t down but ugh I hope they won’t give me a runaround

@moniquerivera70 yeah you definitely should. Get all the info you can and make sure they don't try to rush you out of there. Some doctors will tell you that you have to get a c section just for the money they don't care so you have to be cautious and weigh out all of your options.
