@britanicole nothing with the pregnancy i had a very laid back pregnancy, only had nausea for about a week and a half right around second trimester. And then about 20 weeks i started having round ligament pain which hurt usually when trying to get up or walk stairs but other than that they measured perfect, and had good levels of fluid.

I had no complications up until the point I delivered. In a matter of a week I had ttts which is why they were 3lbs and 5lbs. Before that they were the same size , I went in for decreased movement at 32+2 and delivered that morning via emergency csection because the dr on call was not comfortable with the girls heart rates as they dropped when I had a contraction. I had dilated to a 3 but we didnt know for how long and was checked again 30 minutes later still 3 but my twin a had dropped further and the nurse could feel her head more. I went in with no pain and by the time I was going back to the OR I was having severe contractions where I could barely walk or talk thru the pain.

@britanicole I read a good book called "When You're Having Twins, Triplets, and Quadruplets" it gave a lot of good information and right now I'm reading "What to do When You're Having Two" which I'm really finding helpful, it's written by a mom of twins. I don't have a c-section scheduled yet but my husband and I are leaning heavily towards getting one set up. My OB will deliver vaginally even if Baby B is breech (which she is right now) but I'm not trying to have one vaginally and one c-section lol

@db3 thank you so much this is super reassuring! I do all this research about things (nursing school has ruined me lol) but it seams like mono di twins are the most common type of twin to have. I just really want them healthy, do you have a scheduled c-section yet?

I'm 28 weeks pregnant with mono/di twin girls. I see an MFM every 2 weeks for an ultrasound. One appointment a month they check fluid levels and the other they check growth. I have been doing that since I was about 17 weeks. I've been seeing my OB since I was about 11 weeks. We had a scare of TTTS, one baby was measuring quite a bit bigger than the other but by the next appointment (2 weeks later) they had evened out and so far have stayed that way. It can be a little scary hearing about all the risks that can come with mo/di twins but getting an ultrasound and seeing the babies every 2 weeks has been very reassuring. It's also awesome to see them so much as most women with a singleton don't get to see their babies as much usually :)

Me! I’m not too much further along than you are ... 23 weeks. These are my first set of twins so I don’t know if there is much I can answer.
