- What are reasons some of you ladies were induced?
I was induced with my second.... At 38 weeks I was a 4 dilated and said I have to get induced if it progresses and yup I was a 5 at 39 weeks and was contracting but couldn't feel them so they bring that on too.
Hypertension popped up at my 39 wk appt. So she sent me to l&d to be induced.
@reevespartyof4 see I'm only 1cm dilated I'll be 39 weeks tmrrw so I guess I have to do the waiting game to see if I have anymore
@k.mommy, my second I was dilated a 1-2 a week before, the day of induction I was dilated to a strong 2. But with my first I don’t think I was dilated at all.
With my first- preeclampsia
With my second- dropping heart rate. His cord wrapped around his neck
I was induced with my first bc my water had broken (well, more like a high tear) and I wasn’t starting contractions on my own. They were worried about possible infection, since it had been many hours, so they induced me and boy was she ready to come out!!!
My second, we induced (38 weeks) bc she was very small (just like my first baby) and wasn’t really growing anymore in my womb. I think I am just super short and have a short torso, so there’s not really anywhere for my babies to go. Lol! We did weekly ultrasounds the last month to check up on baby girl closely. I think the induction was a good call!
With my first I was induced at 40 weeks Doctor didn’t want baby getting to my bigger. With my second I was having some high blood pressure and horrible headaches.
With my first I was induced because my contractions wouldn't stop but beast progressing. #2 & #3 my water broke but I wasn't having contractions. #4 I went numb from the belly button to mid thigh and didn't know I was having contractions. This one we will see but I have pre-eclampsia and group b so I will find out on Thursday when I get induced.
I’m going to deliver at 34 weeks due to be hospitalized since April 20th with preeclampsia and low amniotic fluid.
