I get kind of frustrated when my SS asks to go to his moms, then the second he gets her complains for HOURS about how awful it was there. It’s like dude, we DO NOT care that you want to go to your moms (well to see your mom at your grandmas) she’s YOUR MOM! We’ve went over this many times. So don’t act like it’s so terrible that you “had” to be there when you wanted to go! Say you had fun if you did, and if it’s really that miserable...don’t go.🤷🏻♀️

That’s his biological mother. Most people always have a longing to be with their parents even if the parents aren’t the best. So I’m sure he thinks every time he visits, things will be different and they actually aren’t. I don’t think it’s something you should get frustrated about. Instead be supportive and comforting.

@anna20201, I don’t get frustrated that he wants to be there, I understand why he wants to be with his mom. I don’t understand why he feels like he always has to complain when he gets back. Like he thinks that’s what we want to hear. But we get along with his mom and step dad. His mom and I work together. He just seems to get a thrill from getting his dad riled up about what “shitty thing his mom did,” even if nothing really happened at all.

My ss loves his mom he can't live without her but shes always with another guy every other week he hates it and hate that she just parties but he needs to be by her side
