@phoebesmommy the blankets yea I do she sleeps with one and cuddles with one all the others are away from her and it dont help when I go check on her sometimes she will have her face covered and when I uncover it it goes right back on her head but theres also times where she would have no blanket on her and I'll try to cover her up but it just comes right back off. But phoebesmommy your good I make sure she dont suffocate herself.

I’m just here to say there are so many things in this pic making me anxious. Please will you consider the number of suffocation hazards??

@jmedina so just let her cry it out o could do that. To see if it will change where she will stay asleep I didnt lmow if it dealt with her sleeping late for her nap because I could fix that in a heart beat.

Possibly a sleep regression.

@amelliaholmes1457 I am all for crying it out but my son just kept screaming. If that doesnt work you should try the other thing (just Google it). I dont think hunger is the issue if she was sleeping through the night before. They sometimes just want to wake to play as they get older but it can become a bad habit.

@amelliaholmes1457, try doing just oatmeal in her bottle with formula, if she wakes up and still has some left in her bottle try giving it to her again. That’s usually why mine wakes up because she fell asleep before finishing her bottle and can’t find it lol

Have you tried not going in when she wakes? She may just go back to sleep if she thinks you wont come get her. My son started doing this around the same age at 1am and I had to do the ferber method with him.

@amelliaholmes1457, I never warmed my daughters bottles, I don’t even allow day care to warm them. Have you tried adding cereal to her bottle?

@courtney5610 yea I need to do the bath thing but see the warm bottle thing she got use to it being it's normal temp where I didnt have to warm it up anymore so I dont know on that I could try. I'm also seeing if she will go back to sleep but I dont see that as going to plan but yesterday she did.

@amelliaholmes1457, try giving her a bottle and a warm bath and lotion right before bed!

So my baby is 8 weeks old and is thriving with weight gain each doctors visit. So here is my question: around 4-5 hours at night for sleep she wakes up every night and sucks on her thumb. (She finally this week likes it to soothe her during nap times) her eyes are still closed and she moves around and sucks it. I wake her to feed her. My question is should I just let it go? And see if she is just soothing herself to sleep? I don't want her to stave by morning if she sleep a couple of more hours. What would you guys do?

Mommies I need advice....

Mommies I need advice.... So last night was night 15 of me sleep training my daughter from sleeping with me to now sleeping in her new crib. It has been EXHAUSTING! When she slept with me she would sleep straight throughout the night. Now she wakes up at the least, 5 times throughout the night. She has waken up at most 8/9 times at night. There have been times where I’m patting her for an 1 hour-2hours straight to get her back to sleep when she has waken up at one of those times🥵. So I have felt like a complete failure because I am delirious due to sleep deprivation, and I’m just so exhausted from this whole journey and can’t catch up with my sleep that when she’s waken up the past two nights at 7am, I haven’t been able to push through my exhaustion and I just put her in the bed with me for an hour or an hour and a half until we wake up just so I can get a little sleep. I don’t want to confuse her and I don’t want all the work I’ve done so far to be a waste because of putting her in bed with me these past two times. I don’t have anyone to take turns with me because I’m a single mom. And at times my bed wakes her back up after putting her to sleep because it’s so noisy 🙄. I’m working on that part, lol. I’ve let her sleep with a shirt of mine that smelled like me 3 nights and it didn’t help. I’ve even given her a bed baby that she sleeps with. What would you guys do in my case.??
