Is it wrong that I don’t want anybody at the hospital except the father and I when the baby comes?

It was only me and hubby at my last ones birth... everyone understood and only came to visit when I was good and ready.
No I had our nurse lie to my friends and family. She told them since I'm high risk preg (cause my age) that they didn't want anyone else in the room but the father!
I don't think it's wrong. It's your big day, it should be however you want it to be (with what's in your control anyway).
I don't want anyone there except my husband...and maybe my mom...but definitely not in the room for delivery. I'm just a very private person though. Everyone has their own reasons

I only wanted my husband & mama.. I didn't want visitors at all the day he was born, but I didn't have the heart to tell people that & I honestly regret it.
@raquely, same here cuz It’s so much germs going around and my doctor said that wolfing cough or whatever it is is going around a lot lately and I don’t want risk my baby getting it by being around to many people
Nope! That’s how I want it. Makes some people mad but oh well🤷🏻♀️

not at all. it’s a personal preference. i’m in world 3 with my mom right now because of it but it’s my baby, my delivery and my preference .
No! It’s completely understandable, it’s a precious time.
That’s how I was with my daughter. Funny thing is my mom was at the hospital when I was being induced because my grandma had to go there for a surgery lol but they went home and didn’t bother me 😂. I think this time I’ll want my mom there because my husband was a wimp last time and not very helpful
