Whenever you want to. In my culture we don't cut hair before 1. And even then, most of the time it's not cut until later on still.

My boy was 4 months old when he got his first. He’s been getting a cut every 6-8 weeks since 4 months old he’s 5 now and sits nicely in the chair can direct the lady who cuts his hair on what he wants and it’s adorable him with his little voice telling the person the guide size for the back of his hair and that his top is cut only with scissors but not to short

As long as hes able to sit up by himself, and sit somewhat still (toddlers seldom ever stay perfectly still 😝) I'd say go for it. I waited until my son's hair was so long we had to cut it 😂 But I would suggest getting him used to getting his hair cut by starting young (after his first birthday tho) even if its just a little trim, that way maybe he isn't so afraid of the process.

I dont think theres a set age limit. I know however the Jewish wait till the kiddo is 3 then they shave the whole head...they have this belief that the hair will grow back twice as thick and fast. Ive known a few jewish families whove done it
