I feel you pain! Hobo spiders, brown recluse and wolf spiders are being said that they are going to be horrible this year in my area. So I’m already calling getting quotes to have the house and yard sprayed. I always seems to find them in the corners of my house down by the baseboards

We have frequent browns, they scare the daylights out of me. I agree with @choffman499, ours are usually around baseboards and in dark areas like attic. We got sprayed a few months ago but its time to spray again. We live in an all cedar house in the country so I dunno if were just susceptible. I'll never forgive myself if one of my babies gets bit 😭

I almost lost my leg to a brown recluse bite last year 😲

They generally don’t come near you. They won’t bite you unless you are near them. I live in Arkansas and used to live in a cabin growing up and we saw them pretty often. But none of us ever got bitten in our sleep (or bitten at all lol)

However, there are also lots of spiders that are brown with longer legs that aren’t brown recluses. Unless you are out in the middle of the woods, the chances of it being an actual brown recluse is pretty slim 😊

@hollyn216, cedar makes a huge difference. I grew up in a cedar cabin and we had them all the time.

Get.some thieves oil and spray it under your furniture they hate it
