My mom bought me cloth diapers idk how I feel about this I just see a bunch of washing in my future 🙄
@melissa_luv228, Krystaljanae was asking me what kind I recommend, and I accidentally responded to you. lol. Sorry, you were prob like why is she telling me this🙈. But, yes! I mainly use flats, fitteds and covers for the newborn stage and overnight. Is this your first time using cloth?
Gerber “cloth diapers” are filled with polyfill. They are NOT absorbent enough for pee. Lol use them as birth cloths.
I’ve cloth diapered 2 babies.
As for washing poop, I’ve never had a blowout in a cloth diaper 😉 plenty of blowouts and shitty clothes I had to wash when they were in disposables though. Lol and when it was contained in the diaper I didn’t have to touch it, but when they are covered from head to toe it gets EVERYWHERE.
If you ever decide you’re actually interested though there is a ton of information. I would start with the YouTube series “cloth diapering 101” it’s a few videos that explain the world of modern cloth diapering. Yes, there are still old fashion diapers and covers, but no more rubber pants. And many styles of cloth diapers are one piece and go on and off just like a disposable 😊
@mommajules I've got quite a stash going for this baby already. I want more covers and flats to add to it. I've got a bunch of fuzzibunz pockets already. Bought a bunch used.
@melissa_luv228, girl don’t even get me started. I’ve tried everything but i think pocket diapers are prob the best. At least for my kids they were.
@krystaljanae, yeah...those are no good! 😂 The world of cloth diapers has evolved plenty since those! lol
@kelvinsmommy, I think I am lol I’ll consider using them MAYBE when it’s close to potty training
@kelvinsmommy, that’s what I’m saying lol pee is okay but 💩 no ma’am lol
I’ve clothe diapered two babies until potty training. There’s a lot of information out there if you really are interested in doing it. What kind did she get you?
I just can’t get with the thought of cleaning a shitty or even pissy cloth diaper lol.
@mommajules yes I tried part time with my last daughter but it didn't work out I didn't know as much as I do now!
