Spanking and beating your child are two different things. Just because someone spanks their child doesn’t mean they are abusing them.

@shannae3, Exactly! People come asking questions to judge...not understand. And really nobody cares if you understand or not! Like what can you do about the way someone else raises their children?!? Not a thing. There is a difference and if someone doesn’t agree then...🤷🏽♀️

@laniejay, she’s a grown woman not a child!! That’s what’s wrong with to days Children they don’t know their place and when a parent is trying to teach them she has to be judge because it’s a different choice then your!!

@modom16, I have a rule I won’t spank my kids when I’m frustrated or angry. I calm down first and will send her to her room. She gets spankings when she does things she knows are wrong. She knows she will only get so many warnings before she gets the spanking. If I’m frustrated I’m usually screaming not spanking. And I’ve given spankings in a good mood.
@modom16, I’m not angry or frustrated when I spank my kids. I’m disciplining them. Now when I ask them for the 100th time to get their damn shoes on and then turn into a screaming Ursula because we need to leave. That’s when I’m angry and frustrated
@kesh-kesh, I’m curious why else you would hit your kids other than out of frustration or anger? You’re not hitting them when you’re in a good mood so aren’t you doing it because you’re angry with them?
My home is a spanking home. We to a combination of different types of discipline but if a spanking is needed a spanking is given.

I may be one of the only mom's to be, that actually believe in spanking. I was spanked as a child, and I learned from it.
How do u feel about spankings and would u give permission to let anyone else spank your child including schools?
Somebody just told me I shouldn't spank my child.. Umm what? I was spanked as a child, and it ain't nothing wrong with me! Best believe if my child deserve that spanking, he gone get it! Everyone is in such a tissie about who spanks their child who cares everyone has a difference in opinion you know what I disagree with child leashes I cringe when I see one but I would never attack someone for their choice to use it get over yourself you shoving your opinion down someone’s throat will not change what they decide to do.
