So they’re keeping me overnight... low fluids, painful contractions and they wanna try and give me Tylenol instead of doing the section 😩🙄 if contraction are 2-5 mins apart why would you wanna give me Tylenol?! My head hurts because of this 😓😓😓
@ashleycorinaa, they’re still pretty consistent. I was super annoyed, caused me to have a major spike lol she told me I had to calm down but how can one be calm in situations like this. At least communicate information correctly. 🙄
Thank you, I hope so too 🙏🏼
@nisham90, hopefully you have a different experience if you do choose this hospital. Thank you 🙏🏼
@leslyev92, yeah they are supposed to be great with maternity! The Hollywood location was my back up hospital for my birth center last pregnancy because it’s one of the good ones besides Mt Sinai.
Omg🤦🏻♀️ that’s so frustrating. Are you still having consistent contractions? I’d be so annoyed if they said that.
Hopefully they see you soon and stop the nonsense 🙄
I’m Looking At Your Comments & Was Shook That You Said It Was Memorial Miramar. That’s The Hospital I Wanted To Give Birth At, But If They’re Making Dumb Decision I’ll Have To Go Back To The Drawing Board 😩🤦🏽♀️
Hopefully Everything Works Out For You Soon 💕
@ashleycorinaa, I had my first son here and this is suppose to be a good hospital for maternity. Guess things change after a few years 🙄
& yes I hope so too. Last nurse said my dr would be here at 8 am or so. Now the new nurse says “well it’s the weekend, it’s unpredictable” like they need to get it together 🙄🙄
Oh no, why the heck would they try Tylenol.🤨
Just from that I assumed it was Baptist🙄 I alwayssssss hated that hospital lol but Memorial was usually really good so that’s odd but I’ve only been to the pines and Hollywood ones.
Hopefully you get some answers from your Dr soon💕
@amysbabies, it’s cuz they make no sense! It’s like they want me to just take that and send me home so they don’t have to deal with it. I don’t have any fever, all they found was the my amniotic fluid was low but they were offering me Tylenol since before I even went to do the ultrasound, for contractions 🙄😩 let’s see what the dr says when he gets here!
Do you have a low grade fever or something? Otherwise that wouldn’t make sense. Good luck 😄
Oh hunny I’m sorry you’re going through this. I hope you can hold your baby soon ❤️
@raquely, I had a major problem with that! And yeah there is a Dr on call but again. Since I’m not dilated they don’t do shit. I swear, this is why I don’t come to the hospital even when I feel contractions, if it would’ve been for me I would be home right now sticking this out. But my bf was worried and the fact that my amniotic fluid is low, I’m glad I did come in.
I hope so too 🙏🏼
@raquely, not yet. I’m staying overnight, nurse just told me my Dr is coming at 8 am and that the only reason they haven’t done anything yet is because I’m not dilated, but that my contractions are 2-4 mins apart.
@girlmom., With my second I went in with contractions further apart and they did the section a couple of hours after I arrived. I agree that baby should stay in as long as possible but if my contractions are so close together and so painful, I don’t think tynenol is the answer.
@girlmom., I’m not in baptist & I don’t need an induction I’m a section.
They are giving you that cause you aren’t dilating with those contractions. Baptist won’t induce you before 39 weeks unless there’s a serious problem with you or baby.
I had. Real contractions 3 minutes apart for a whole month. But since I wasn’t dilating with them, there was nothing my doc could do cause my hospital doesn’t induce before 39 weeks also
@mokai08, they are keeping me over night because of the low fluid and they brought me upstairs to like the actual rooms for when delivery happens. So different nurses 🤗
@leslyev92 exactly! Maybe a shift change is coming soon and that will make the difference. I actually fell asleep and woke up excited to read that you and or @ceceandgianny216 were having a baby. This is ridiculous. Lol
@mokai08, yeah and a means to what end?! To control a pain every 4 hours that will just keep coming back. And maybe because it’s 4:30 AM 🙄
@leslyev92 tyenol is like tictacs. They gave me morphine last time. I wonder if they are short staffed or something stupid like that.
@ymoreno16, 😓 damn mama! I’m just like so confused if I’m a section why would they opt to give me pain killers especially if the contractions are strong and spaced out pretty evenly right now.
When I was in labor they gave me some medicine that kicked in within secs and all I remember was my head turning around and after that I don’t remember nothing, I was having bad contractions and a big fatass headache
@mokai08, yeah I kindly declined taking tynenol. WTH do I need that for?!
@raquely I would be livid. There should always be someone on call!!
