Ok mamas! I’m posting here because I know back on B.B. there were a lot of mamas that were educated on child safety. So one of my fb friends posted that her child was extremely fussy. I suggested that it might be gas because that is normally what causes babies to be extremely fussy when they normally aren’t. Well one of her family members suggested she give the baby castor oil. If it’s harmful to take during pregnancy, I can only imagine how dangerous it would be to give to a two month old baby! Someone give me facts and the risks of giving it to baby before I send her a message and warn her not to. Please and thank you!
@crunchytxmomma88, I agree! He JUST made 2 months. I told her his little stomach was not ready for that. I’m more thankful that she was open to me telling her that it was harmful for him.
@yourfavoritemama, thank god she didn’t give her baby castor oil
@yourfavoritemama wow, I would be LIVID!!
She called me guys! She said she ignored the castor oil comment. She also said that her cousin put rice cereal in her baby’s breastmilk (without telling her!) so that’s the reason for his crying more than like. I’d be pissed and she would not be keeping my baby again!
Castor oil is an extreme laxative that shouldn’t even be used commonly in adults. It will cause cramps, extreme diarrhea that can lead to dehydration and a bunch of other side effects. But also oil laxatives are also know for causing pneumonia in children.
ETA I would maybe suggest she adds a daily probiotic and uses gripe water when necessary, probonix infant is great for young kids.
I recommended gas drops as they worked wonders for my baby. She didn’t respond though. 😓
@yourfavoritemama No no no no!!!! Castor oil cannot I repeat cannot be given to children under 6 period!! If the child is 6-10 a doctor is the only one to recommend it to be given.. if baby has gas or upset stomach give gas drops or gripe water
All because we were stupid, our baby is going to be suffering. I never wanted this for my child.
Help! My child is going bald is this normal for her hair to just fall out? And how can I get it to grow back?

Hello I am Ceiamaria I am a stay at home Mother to 4 children ages 12,8,7 and 11 months old. I am happily marr...
This girl on my fb is 8 weeks pregnant with her first child and she said she felt the baby 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️people these days 😂😂😂
Thank god! My baby has struggled pooping for weeks and is in so much pain he screams bloody murder, but he is not constipated as poop is normal when he does go, i had a doctor at a routine hospital appointment recommend a teaspoon of prune juice in boiled water or lactulose 😮 he's only 7 weeks!!! Lucky I'm educated enough to have not even tried it as i took him to the emergency yesterday and had him checked out, they gave him an ultrasound and said there's nothing wrong inside just lots of gas and to give him nothing but wind drops, bicycle legs and warm baths and he'll grow out of it and to never under any circumstance give an infant any form of laxitive. Pays to get a second opinion. These were doctors from the same hospital too!
