Heart burn feels like it is coming thru my throat now. Any home remedies?

Any dairy. Sitting up. I've been living on Zantac and Gaviscon personally. It's brutal

Ive been chewing tums

I take prilosec cause none of the home remedies I tried really did any good for longed than 5-10 minutes and I was literally crying all day every day with heartburn.

@wheelercharle4, i feel like I can feel my heart beat from outside of my chest.

I had heartburn/acid reflux sooo bad during my pregnancy. I ate the max amount of tums per day and then started taking Zantac along w the tums and it helped a lot

And i always had to have water around to get the burning feeling and taste from my mouth/throat :(

I try not to take extra meds so the only thing that helps is slushies or ice cream for me....but I hear that the meds we are allowed work

Baking soda water

I second baking soda water, I carried a water bottle with baking soda water in it around with me before I started prilosec. I know a lot of women will put up with the worst to keep from taking medicine while pregnant, and I can handle a lot but I can't handle heartburn 😂

Cold milk works for me. Never helped before pregnancy but it’s all that works now.

The milk helps me a lot too. I have heard of the soda water even before pregnant and it only ever made it worse.

Milk, I had to get prescribed meds for mine bc it was so bad
