Do u be patient with a 1 year old boy who keeps messing up the room and thinks it’s funny even tho it’s not
Any advice
@ymoreno16, this ^^👍 focusing on the positive instead of the negative is very helpful! With all ages not just toddlers.
@reyjenetapia700, it may be helpful to start finding meet ups like library story time and make some friends. It’s so much easier to cope and learn diff parenting methods when you have others who can commiserate with you. ML is great too tho!
Just be patient. I have a 6 year old and hes still learning. They are still trying to figure things out. As for the biting just redirect like when he goes to bite say oh no we dont bite do u wanna sing a song? Abcd....and I'm sure that will work or say something like we only bite food okay baby wanna play. That's what I do w my behavior students and redirection is almost always on point
Yes my 1 year old does this and I just wait tell he's in bed to clean lol
@reyjenetapia700, you can do it though. do you have any mommy friends close by you look up to?
@reyjenetapia700, it’s so hard isn’t it!!!?
Yes, my advice is to breathe. There’s no way a 1 year old will keep anything clean. My 3 year old is learning how to clean up but when they play, expect mess. They’re little scientists and explorers finding new fun things. If you keep this in mind it’ll help your mindset. Also, it helps me to have them play in their room so I don’t have toys EVERYWHERE
What do you ladies mean by mess like toy mess? I never got impatient with that . I didn't mind cleaning up his toy mess and I still clean up his toy mess now .
@reyjenetapia700, my daughter bites her brother sometimes 😖. When she does I tell her that hurts we be nice to him while I’m hugging him. I grab her hands and show her how to be soft.
@reyjenetapia700, trust me momma it’s hard I have an almost 2 year old and at times I feel so frustrated with him when he makes a mess but I have to be very very patient with him and I tell him okay we gonna clean now & he helps me pick up all his toys it takes time but he will get it momma 💖

Get stern with him. Put emphasis on the words no and don’t. Do time out if he does it more than 3 times
He doesn’t knw want better, momma we gotta teach them little by little tell him to help you clean it up once he’s done be very dramatic with him meaning telling him good job, high 5, etc.
Toddlers are defiant little beings. I just keep redirecting and saying we don’t that, it usually works eventually. They’re all about testing limits right now you just gotta go with it and try not to lose your cool.
Patience is the best thing you can have with a toddler, when they see you get so worked up about it seems to encourage them to keep doing whatever it is.
And it’s a boy 💙
Do you ladies think it’s okay to look in your mans phone sometimes?

It’s a girl 🤪😍❤️🔥🥰
