Are you supposed to have a mw appointment around 16 weeks? I haven’t heard anything from my mw and I’m 16+4. 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
@taylorbx, aww that’s lovely! Congrats on your little man. 😊 I’m thinking of going for a private gender scan this week too. Hoping for a 💙 too.x
@surraya1983, me too! Considering I hadn’t heard his heartbeat yet and this is my first baby! Had a private scan now and heard it and found out it’s a little baby boy 💙
@tbrooks15, ah ok. You could be right. I’m not that bothered, I just wanted to hear the heartbeat.xx
I remember reading somewhere that you get less appointments if it’s not your first (not sure which ones though!) x
I had my 16 weeks today and what a waste of time that was - scheduled one hour appointment for her to take my urine sample, check blood pressure and book in for 24 weeks. Literally in and out in 10 minutes.
@surraya1983 i think (if your notes are anything like mine) there is a page somewhere in there that tells you which weeks you should book in with midwife. It should be something like 16 weeks, 24 weeks, 28 weeks, 32 weeks and so on x
@carlybeanw, ah ok. I didn’t realise. I thought she’d do it for me. She actually didn’t even mention when my next one should be.x
I had my booking appt and the midwife booked my next appt at 16+1 there and then
Yes my next one is next Wednesday which I will be 15+2 but we thought I was 16 then xx
I was just thinking the other day, I’m sure I had one about this time with my son. The mw didn’t leave me her number so I’ll ring the docs next week.c
@surraya1983, thank you! so so happy, as that is what we wanted and everyone was convinced it was a girl! I got a deal gender and 4D view for £39! x
