Need some good book recommendations
So I like reading like murder/mystery books. Any recommendations?!?
@cphelps39, it’s called “luckiest girl alive”. I’m only on chapter three so I don’t know the whole story yet. She’s hiding a big secret that I’ve yet to learn. I don’t want to put it down but I have to take care of these kids lol. Darn kids getting in the way of my reading lol
@ss3mom, yeah that is pretty neat! What's the name of the book?
@cphelps39, awesome thanks for the recommendations. The book I’m reading now I just picked up at the grocery store. But as I started reading it the main character is from my area lol. She grew up the town next to me. And she talks about the main line. Outside of Philadelphia and I found that so cool. I love reading stories that are based near where I live. I can relate because I know all about these areas. Pretty cool right?!?
Some of the best ones are "And Then There Were None", "Murder on the Orient Express", "Why didn't they Ask Evans" and any of the Hercule Poirot series
All of Agatha Christie's books. They are mainly set in Britain but I love them
Out of the two, The Woman in the Window was better. I just let my aunt borrow my copy. 😊
@oddie, oh they both sound so good!! Def going to look into those bikes
I am subscribed to the Book of the Month club and usually get their thrillers and mysteries. I love to read! I just finished The Woman in the Window and it was very, very good. Before that I read The Wife Between Us which was also an interesting read. If you start a book club chat for fellow book worms 🐛 please add me 💕
@nerualauren, awesome thanks I’ll def check that out
@mojobebe, I did read the girl on the train and the couple next door. Both were great. I’ll check out behind closed doors
Dean koontz is who you probably should lean towards. The book Intensity has been the most intense book I’ve ever read.... hence the title. (Lol just noticed that.) but it is great!!
I heard Behind Closed Doors is a good book. Last mystery books I’ve read were The Couple Next Door and The Girl on the Train. My favorite books surround WW2. I just read Mudbound and I’m about to start reading The Hiding place tonight. Hitler’s Furies is right after that.
I just started reading luckiest girl alive. I’m on chapter 3 but need another one after that!!!
Books
What books do people recommend to read? I need something to do when my dd is napping!

I devoured this book in two days. Such a great read! Truly showing the strength of a woman, a mother.
Trying to get out of my reading comfort zone. Can anyone recommend books they loved?
Best ways to prepare for natural birth, yes anything can happen and I may not get what I want but I also dont focus on the negative (: But should I watch videos if so recommendations? Book recommendations? Like I'm so nervous of labor in general and instead of stressing I'd love to learn about it to make me stress less! Lol
I need podcast recommendations.
Or Audible recommendations.. i’m in a “reading” slump.
I’m extremely picky with books though. Absolutely no YA / books where the main character is 17. No fantasy.
I prefer historical fiction, and love a “i was raised by horrible parents, this is the story of my life” kind of books. (Like The Glass Castle. Or, The Great Alone). Books about being raised by religious freaks / bible belt / culty and “i made it out”. (Like Sound of Gravel, or Educated.)
Any thing ...
Recommendations on some audio books?
The Cukoo’s Calling by Robert Galbraith (turns out that’s JK Rowling’s other pen name). Very well written and pretty entertaining.
