May 22, at 1:27 pm, our beautiful baby girl made her debut 2 weeks early! She was a whopping 8.3 lbs and 20 3/4 in long. I’m in love with how perfect she is and her big brother is already obsessed with her! I am asking for some prayers though.. We have had an eventful last 2 days. Today her bilirubin was pretty high, so she is jaundiced. Thankfully, we were cleared to go home.. This afternoon, the nurse was helping us a bit and having us sign some paperwork. I had just nursed Emberly and she was lying in my arms calm when all of a sudden her lips, face, then body turned completely blue. We have no idea what caused it and are set up for an echocardiogram in the morning. Shes also on a monitor now, which makes me feel a little better, but i am a nervous wreck.
