just found out i’ve been making his bottles wrong the whole time. i thought 2oz was half a scoop. and 4oz was one scoop. 😭i feel so aweful. i’ve been wondering why it seems he’s always hungry after 2hrs

@lavender13, oh wow glad you figured it out now though! I agree with letting your pedi know, I’m sure he’ll be fine but it doesn’t hurt to make sure!

Be careful with that. Babies that young can get water poisoning from watered down formula. If try to breastfeed as much as possible.

Definitely call pedi, he’s been essentially getting twice the water he’s supposed to, so they should test his sodium level!

Don’t! Believe me, you’re not the first or the last mom to do it! Some formulas even change the ratio up. We learn this way! Please don’t beat yourself up over it, you noticed.

You should call his paediatrician and let them know. He hasn’t been getting the nutrients he needs.
