Just curious does it go away on its own like the purple or what

@mommabear2018, yeah it fades within 24 hours it’s a dye that smothers the thrush. Not harmful to her.

We did that for my son to works 100x better than the medicine they give ❤️ and she is so stinking precious purple mouth and all 😍

@kaym, the meds just made her puke everything up and the thrush remained the same my midwife suggested this. I think it’s working she’s nursing better and seems to have fade off my nipples. This is the last day of treatment so we will see when the purple fades

@bebefever94, same with my son the medicine made him so sick he would just scream from the Tummy ache and it didn’t make a dent that gentian violet had it gone in 48 hours

@mommabear2018, you can get it a number of ways but we got it because we were both on antibiotics after her birth and it wiped us of our good bacteria and the bad took over. Signs are fussiness at feedings, white patches or white coating of the tongue, and if you are breastfeeding it’s sharp pains in breast or burning nipples.

@kaym, that’s great to hear. Our case was bad so we have been doing it since Monday I really hope it did the trick it’s been horrible
