So because of my diagnosis of the polyhydraminos I’ll be having weekly ultrasounds until i give birth and now have been put on a low fat diet. The good thing is we’ll do a growth scan today but I’m gonna pray through this low fat diet part. Any suggestions?
I was diagnosed with this as well. I had a nst test and weekly ultrasounds until I gave birth. They also checked my daughter for any issues that may have caused it such as her body not filtering the amniotic fluid or her having swallowing problems. I always measured big and she did as well. When I gave birth, she ended up an average size.
Ok seems weird to control your diet unless you're high risk for GD or already have it 🙈 in the meantime you can do a high protein diet. Chicken breasts or other really lean meats and as many fresh veggies as you want. Maybe 1 serving of fruit a day.
@kambam, i tested negative for it but at my ultrasound she said measuring as someone 40 weeks and not 35 almost 36 🤷🏽♀️ so I’m waiting to be seen by my doctor again
@anna20201, oh ok, I’m being referred to a high risk doctor baby has a centimeter size amt of fluid in his lungs and I’m trying not to worry
